Easy and quick Cheese slice paratha recipe for kids

Cheese slice Paratha  is all-time favorite for cheese fans ,especially kids.

Here is easy, quick, irresistible Cheese slice Paratha recipe with step by step pictures.

We can make this Cheese Paratha with daily and very few ingredients.

Its very quick recipe for morning hurry time , you can make it for your kids lunch box as well as on their demand of days off meal time very quickly.

I used to make it with left over dough  or chapattis (Roti or Indian flat bread) for quick serving to my munchkin. Usually when we go outside for birthday party or any other party, after returning he used to tell    “Mamma… I am hungry”….So, I generally make this super quick recipe which is delicious as well as stomach filling.

My munchkin like to accompany this  cheese  paratha with a Curd (yogurt) or Tomato sauce or dates chutney  ,but you can try with different chutneys as well as sauces or  bowl of  Spinach, Tomato or lentil soups and salads to make it perfect meal for your kids.

 Cheese Paratha

  • 2 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) or chapatis
  • Water for kneading a dough
  • 2 cheese slices (Amul or any brand)
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder (optional)
  • Salt
  • 3-4 teaspoon oil or ghee or butter

Step 1      First knead a simple soft dough by add water to the flour.

Step 2      now make small equal balls of the dough.

Step 3     Roll each ball into a small round.

Step 4     Heat the tawa and put one rolled round on it.

Step 5      Let it cook for 10-15 seconds until bubbles start to form on top. Flip the chapati and cook      for 30 seconds more. Then just flip on direct flame and it will fluff up

Gently press on top of the chapati to make the chapati fluff up. Flip one more time and press on top.

Step 6      Now take one or two cheese slice and place it on chapatti or roti or Indian flat bread.

Step 7      Add some pepper powder on top of cheese slice (optional)  and Fold the remaining part of roti or chapati, you can make variations in folding by shapes (square or triangle)

Step 8       Place it on hot tawa or griddle on low flame to make it crispy.

Step 9      Spread some ghee/oil/butter on sides and top, Flip, press the edges and fry it till you have crisp brown spots. Once it done, remove from the griddle and make others in same way.

Step 10      Serve this simple cheese paratha with healthy dates chutney or curd or tomato catch up.
